From Your Phone to a Studio
Nobody needs a studio to start. Each stage below adds one thing, only when the last one is holding you back.
Stage 1 · The phone
The phone you have, a window for light, a quiet room, and a stack of books for eye-level framing.
Stage 2 · Clear sound
A small clip-on microphone. Viewers forgive soft video; they leave over bad audio.
Stage 3 · Steady and lit
A tripod and one soft light, so you can film any time of day.
Stage 4 · A real camera
A mirrorless camera and a simple lens, when the story deserves more polish.
Stage 5 · The studio
A dedicated space with key and fill lights, a backdrop, and a teleprompter.
